Dr. George Loucas Tzanis, MD is the Director of the VISN 4 Clinical Resource Hub ( a VHA telemedicine innovations program serving Pennsylvania, Delaware and South New Jersey as well as veterans across every community in the United States). He is also the Medical Director of the VISN 4 Clinical Contact Center and has been the VISN 4 Primary Care lead physician consultant since 2017. He completed his medical residency at Thomas Jefferson University/TJUH from 1995 to 1998, and graduated from the Hershey Medical Center/ Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Tzanis is an experienced clincian educator and has contributed to several clinical innovations, including research on colorectal cancer screening, and the incidence of deep vein thrombosis, and has lead innovations in population health with a focus on cancer prevention.
