He received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, and he did his neurosurgical residency and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University. He specializes in cerebrovascular neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology/endovascular neurosurgery and is experienced in treatment of cerebral aneurysms, stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematomas (SDH), arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), arteriovenous fistulae (DAVFs), cavernous malformations, and other blood vessel disorders of the brain and spine.
