He believes in cultivating a strong doctor-patient relationship, as well as adherence to surgical principles, as these qualities result in the best possible outcome.
After receiving his undergraduate degrees from The University of Arizona, Dr. Goodman went on to receive his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Goodman continued his medical education with a residency in orthopedic surgery at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, where he earned the distinguished honor graduate award as Chief Orthopedic Resident for his display of the most outstanding clinical and surgical achievement. After residency he then completed a coveted fellowship in adult reconstruction at the prestigious Anderson Orthopedic Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a Fellow member of the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons as well as the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
