- Gene Meisenberg, MD, FACS, is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Gene Meisenberg received comprehensive training in General Surgery, Adult and Pediatric Urology, and Urologic Oncology. He completed his Surgical Residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, followed by a four-year residency training in Urology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Meisenberg has also served as Chief Resident in Urology at both, Robert Wood Johnson and Princeton hospitals.
Dr. Meisenberg became board certified by American Board of Urology in 2001 and was admitted as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 2001. Board Certified in Urology, Dr. Meisenberg is a Fellow member of the American Urological Association and American Medical Association.
At New York - Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Meisenberg is an Attending Surgeon in Urology and has been a Clinical Instructor in Urology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University since 2001. He is also an Attending Urologist at New York Methodist Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center.
Recognized as an expert in Urological Oncology and Voiding Dysfunction Dr. Meisenberg has presented on national conferences and has published a number of articles on these and other topics.
