Dr. Geena Zhou is a pediatrician based in Castro Valley, CA. She completed her medical education at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She holds a BS in Psychobiology from the University of California Los Angeles, having graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Zhou's research includes publications on pediatric health issues, such as the use of a validated questionnaire to improve emergency department visits for asthma and seeing what symptoms predicted a COVID-19 infection prior to widespread availability of COVID-19 testing in children. She has been recognized with the Dean’s Commendation for Exceptional Volunteerism from the University of California-San Francisco.
