After a 47 year career at North Bay Pediatrics in the SF Bay Area, which I co-founded, my wife and I moved to Ventura to be closer to family. I now work at Surfside Pediatrics in Ventura.
My NorCal practice which I founded in 1977 grew to 8 pediatricians in three cities. Besides managing the practice, I was a city councilman, president of the local IPA and served on the board and other committees of Hill Physicians Medical Group.
I enjoy the diagnostic aspects of pediatrics and following families and their children through the many phases of a child’s growth and development. I have a focus on anticipatory guidance and preventative medicine as well as acute care. I strongly believe in evidence-based medicine. Specifically, working with families on the chronic issues that affect us all: sleep, nutrition, weight issues, acne, chronic headaches and stomach aches, asthma and allergies, school issues, developmental concerns and more. I moved to Ventura with my wife to be close to our granddaughters. We have three daughters who live in LA and one daughter in Portland. I enjoy music, the beach and ocean, reading and art.
