Gary Paul Willers DO

Summary

• Dr. Willers was raised in Lake Jackson, Texas and moved to Cuero after completion of his Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship following his Family Medicine Residency. He is currently active in teaching future family physicians and serves as attending physician and primary preceptor for residents at Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency Program in Bryan, Texas as they rotate through Cuero for their rural medicine curriculum. He also serves as adjunct clinical faculty for University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he attended medical school and assists in teaching medical students in rural medicine. In addition to direct teaching, he has been involved with book publications to educate primary care practitioners on ultrasound. Aside from hospital and clinical duties, he also cares for patients throughout the area at nursing facilities as well as Hospice. He is an avid car enthusiast as most of his patients know, and enjoys spending time with his wife and children in his spare time away from medicine.
