Dr Miller has been in private practice since 1990, a president of Alternative Services Network. Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. Miller served as state mental health director for three states: Texas, New Hampshire and Georgia. He also spent two years in Rochester NY as Assistant Commissioner (for Western NY State) with the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene. He has authored over thirty articles and book chapters on various aspects of psychiatry and has served as a faculty member in several medical school departments of psychiatry.
