Summary
- - I work as an Interventional cardiologist; work includes on call Gen/INTV coverage, high risk PCI with atherectomy, intra coronary imaging, mechanical circulatory support with Impella, ECMO placement for pts with respiratory and cardiogenic shock, management of PE with thrombectomy, thrombolysis, RHC with CardioMEMS placement. Vascular coverage includes acute limb ischemia, PVD.
- Established TAVR program in 2018, also perform TMVR, PFO/ASD closure, PVL closure as part of structural heart program. TAVR program has evolved into a mature program, completed 310 procedures since inception, 50 carotid TAVRs.
- Serve in administrative roles as Cardiac cath lab director, Structural heart program director. Currently oversee the STEMI/PCI program. Cath lab performs 400-600 PCI/yr, 130-150 STEMI/yr, 75-80 TAVR/yr. Cath lab supports atherectomy (rotational, CSI, laser), Shockwave lithotripsy, IVUS/FFR, mechanical support with Impella, ECMO, management of PE/DVT with thrombolysis, thrombectomy (Inari, Penumbra, EKOS).
- Serve in hospital quality committee, peer review committee.
- Served as councilor for ILACC from Illinois southern district.
