Dr. Galen Huang is a gastroenterologist based in Riverside, CA. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of California Davis Health from 1978 to 1980 and his residency in internal medicine at USC/LA General from 1975 to 1978. Dr. Huang graduated from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 1975. Since 1980.
From 1980 to 2019 he was division chief of gastroenterology at California's Riverside county run hospital. His role included teaching of Loma Linda medical school residents, and in the final three years gastroenterology fellows as well. He was also involved with teaching in the UC Riverside/UCLA two year medical school program which has sinced evolved into a full four year medical school.
He has a focus in hepatology and has been recognized with multiple honors, including "Top Doctors" awards from Castle Connolly in both the LA and San Diego areas in 2013 and is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
