- Dr. Adamakos, dual US and Canadian citizen, completed residency as a chief resident and worked for almost a decade in the greater NYC area. She worked her way up from Wellness Director, Simulation Director, Assistant Program Director, Associate Program Director to finally Vice Chair of Education and Medical Education Fellowship Director during that time. Becoming tired of the political volatility of the US, she pivoted her career to The Ottawa Hospital as the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigeneity and Accessibility where she is currently happily working.
