Dr. Frank Sellke is a cardiothoracic surgeon in Providence, RI and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Rhode Island Hospital, and Miriam Hospital. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and has been in practice 36 years. He specializes in cardiovascular surgery and is experienced in adult cardiac surgery. Dr Sellke has been funded by the National Institutes of Health for 28 years. He is the editor of 3 textbooks in cardiothoracic surgery, including the 7th, 8th,9th and 10th editions of Sabiston & Spencer Surgery of the Chest, the 1st and 2nd editions of Atlas of Cardiac Surgical Techniques, and a book entitled Aortic Dissection and Acute Aortic Syndromes to be published in late 2020. Dr Sellke has published over 525 journal articles and is the Associate Editor of the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.
