Summary

• Focus point joined forces with grow therapy to help increase access to mental health to meet the growing demand for service. We employ all kinds of therapy approach depending on the needs of the clients. My approach to treatment includes medication therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). CBT help to manage recurring thoughts, feeling and behavior while the ACT helps client accept their emotions and challenges rather than denying them. An ACT treatment plan supports client to develop self-acceptance and self-compassion, reframe negative thoughts, and commit to actions that will enrich their lives. CBT focus on helping clients shift how they react to their thoughts and feelings while acceptance and commitment therapy techniques teaches clients how to face challenging experiences and feelings rather than reducing their exposure to them. Medication therapy, CBT and ACT has helped most of my clients treat effectively their anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, relationship issues, OCD, eating disorder, psychosis, mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD and ASD etc.
  
  I’m currently accepting patients across life span, open to referrals and consultations. Working with clients with mental health issues over the past twenty-six years gives me substantial experience to help my clients. In summary, have great experiences in acute psychiatric hospitals, correctional psychiatric facility-in patient, neurobehavioral care center, residential treatment centers and community mental health clinics.
