She received fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmolgy at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and glaucoma at the Moran Eye Center and Devers Eye Clinic in Portland OR. Her clinical expertise includes cataract, anterior segment, and glaucoma care. She was on the Faculty of the Moran Eye Center from 1992 until 2001 when she joined the Spokane Eye Clinic in Spokane WA. She retired from clinical practice in 2015. She currently an adjunct professor at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah and works with Eye Corps in Tanzania.
