Summary

• Dr. Torres has been practicing hyperbaric medicine and wound management since 2005. He has successfully managed over 4,000 patients with both acute and chronic wounds throughout the northern, central, and eastern regions of Puerto Rico. For 12 years, he worked in the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine and Wounds at the Medical Center of Puerto Rico. He also served as the Senior Medical Director at Woundtech in Hollywood, Florida, which provides wound management services across several states in the U.S.
  
  Currently, Dr. Torres is the Chief Medical Officer of Wound Therapeutics of Florida LLC, where he offers advanced wound care in Orlando, Florida. He developed Wounds Authority (https://woundsauthority.com), a portal designed to provide wound management training for healthcare professionals. Additionally, he is the owner and lead developer of Wound Charts (https://woundcharts.com), an electronic medical record system specifically designed for wound management. This application utilizes existing technology, including machine learning, to provide treatment predictions and suggestions aimed at achieving optimal clinical outcomes. Dr. Torres is also the author of the Spanish textbook "Wound Management: Introduction, Diagnosis, and Treatments," available on Amazon, which is dedicated to healthcare professionals.
