Fergie Ross Montero DO

Summary

• After graduating from Rutgers University, Dr. Montero went on to receive her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. She then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwell Health (formerly North Shore-Long Island Jewish) in Manhasset, NY. She is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York.
  
  She specializes in the non-surgical treatment of neck and low back pain as well as other musculoskeletal complaints such as shoulder, elbow, hip and knee pain. Dr. Montero is also skilled at performing EMGs, another tool to diagnose disorders such as cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy and nerve entrapments at the carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel or tarsal tunnel.
  
  As a Physiatrist, she is attentive to how limiting pain can be to a person’s day to day life. She strives to deliver the best patient care possible to help her patients regain normal function and return to the things they love doing most.
