- Dr Farshad Forouzandeh is a passionate clinician and an avid researcher. He has published numerous papers on both translational and clinical aspects of cardiovascular (CV) disease. He has received many prestigious awards including American Heart Association (AHA) post-doctoral fellowship, British Columbia Innovation Council Award, Best Resident of the Year, and many top presentation and research competition awards at local, national, and international levels. His clinical and research activities are focused on advanced cardiovascular interventions and vascular biology. He has joined the elite cardiology program at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) as an assistant professor of medicine and University Hospitals (UH) as an interventional cardiologist since July 2017.
Dr Forouzandeh finds nothing more enjoyable than providing the best possible care to his patients and help advancing the science and is ready to collaborate toward these goals with other physicians and scientists. Also, he is passionate in teaching to the new generation of enthusiastic health-care providers and knows himself as a life-long committed student who tries to learn from every moment of the beautiful gift of life…
