Esther Rollhaus MD

Summary

• Dr. Esther Rollhaus is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist in private practice in Riverdale, NY and via telepsychiatry to New York and New Jersey. She has particular interests in women’s mental health, infertility and pregnancy loss, and pregnancy and postpartum mental health. A graduate of Stern College for Women, Esther received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine. She completed general adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. As her private practice developed, Dr. Rollhaus sought additional training to help women and men with psychiatric issues related to infertility, pregnancy loss, assisted reproductive technology, and pregnancy and postpartum. She is particularly interested in the interactions of reproductive hormones and mood and anxiety disorders across the lifespan, from menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.
  
  She has taught Drugs and Behavior, Psychopharmacology, and Behavioral Neuroendocrinology at Yeshiva University, and she consults on reproductive and women’s mental health issues to Achieve Behavioral Health clinic. She is passionate about reducing the stigma of psychiatry and encouraging safe and open dialogue about reproductive mental health.
