Summary

  • I am an emergency general surgeon in Seattle, Washington. I practice both acute care and elective general surgery. My academic pursuits include access to care and health equity to ensure all patients have access to quality general surgery care.

    In addition, I am also dedicated to community engagement/outreach to disadvantaged underrepresented students interested in pursuing medicine, particularly surgery, as a career. I am the executive director of the outreach program ‘Doctor for a Day’ through the University of Washington School of Medicine.
