Summary
- I am a board certified general surgeon and a multi organ transplant surgeon. I have expertise in transplant immunology, immunosuppressive drug development, and basic, translational, and clinical research with over 30 years in academia.
Most recently, our research has focused on characterizing rejection at the single cell level, and using single cell genomics to define rejection phenotypes and to identify cellular adaptation and resistance to rejection therapy, with the ultimate goal to develop enhanced rejection therapies for both cellular and humoral rejection.
