- Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, I served as cardiothoracic surgeon and assistant professor of surgery at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. I specialize in the treatment of acute and chronic thoracic surgical diseases—including those of routine, complex and end-stage nature.
My clinical interests include surgical treatment of chronic and end stage lung diseases, as well as benign and malignant diseases and lesions of the chest.
My research interests include investigations of outcomes and health disparities related to lung cancer, lung transplant and ECMO patients.
