Ernest Moritz, MD, is a pulmonologist based in New Haven, CT, with a focus on hospice and palliative care. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Yale-New Haven Medical Center in 1980, after earning his medical degree and completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Moritz has contributed to several publications, including works on crisis standards of care and triage protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as on thoracic endometriosis and pulmonary infections, that are widely cited in the field. In 2019, he was recognized as a Master by the American College of Physicians.
