Summary
- Board certified in Endocrinology, Obesity Medicine, and Internal Medicine, I stepped back from conventional insurance-based practice to open my own medical office, Sol Endocrinology, in August 2022.
My staff and I deliver more continual, personalized medical care to my patients with complex diabetes and other complicated endocrine disorders via longer in-person appointments, text messaging, telemedicine, to meet the patient where they're at. We have the time and bandwidth to do provocative hormone testing. We accept most third-party insurance plans plus an additional cash-pay membership (i.e. concierge) fee to cover time spent on patients between office visits for services not currently covered through the conventional fee-for-service model.
As a result, we have plenty of time to schedule appointments within days, research and carry off complex treatment plans, solve insurance hassles, teach necessary lifestyle changes, connect with patients and build trust, and help people overcome their previous anxieties around blood sugars, cholesterol and weight management. Best of all, my staff is happy. I'm happy. We can take care our patients, ourselves and our families simultaneously. Life is good.
