Summary

• Dr. Erin Cooke is a diagnostic radiologist currently based at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, in the Abdominal Imaging section. Following graduation from Baylor College of Medicine in 2005, she completed Diagnostic Radiology residency training in 2010 at Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) and fellowship in MRI at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in 2011. Subsequently Dr. Cooke worked as faculty at Ochsner Medical Center North Shore from 2011 to 2014, and then moved to Seattle in 2014 to work at VMMC. There she served as Co-Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency from 2017 to 2020. From 2020 to 2024, she worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she also was the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director from 2022 to 2024 before moving to Colorado. She is currently the Vice Chair for Education at the University of Colorado. She has published in several medical journals, is active in the ACR, ABR, AAR, APDR, ACER and SAR, and is a recognized national leader in integrating the arts and humanities into radiology.
