Summary

  • I am a Board Certified Anesthesiologist that has been working in Arizona since 2003. I spent 8 years working in a private practice MD only Anesthesia group doing my own cases. We were fee for service and I did mostly bread and butter cases, healthy pedi and OB. I left in 2010 to do an independent solo practice that expanded to do office based anesthesia as well. I did a variety of cases in the office ranging from Urology, Dental, Fertility and Plastic Surgery procedures to name a few, many of those cases lasted upwards to over an hour. In 2016, I was offered a full time position at an outpatient Spine Surgery facility. I do mostly supervision of up to three CRNAs and occasional do my own cases. I also am responsible for medical chart reviews and accessing patients in clinic that present for surgery. I have also been a case reviewer for the Arizona State Medical Board. I really enjoy doing outpatient procedures since I am use to a quicker pace and my claim to fame is that I hold the record for maximum cases done in a 24 hour period with my old group. I did 22 elective hand procedures with a Plastic Hand Surgeon in one day. We also had a fabulous ENT Surgeon that did 15 minute Tonsillectomies so I had to learn to be quick. Anyway that is a little summary of what I have done over that last several years.
