Dr. Erik King is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Chicago, IL, specializing in pediatric orthopedics. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University from 1993 to 1998 and pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from 1998 to 1999, after graduating from Stanford University School of Medicine. He has expertise in pediatric orthopaedics and pediatric shoulder surgery. Dr. King has contributed to multiple publications, including research on enhanced recovery pathways, patient-reported outcomes after syndactyly reconstruction, computational motion analysis of the spastic upper limb, treatment of proximal humerus fractures in skeletally immature patients, and radiofrequency ablation for osteoid osteoma, which have been cited numerous times in other scholarly work.
