Summary
- I am a board certified psychiatrist currently attending a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison psychiatry in New York, NY with broad interests in both inpatient and outpatient CL practice, in addition, I am also interested in positions in outpatient psychiatric practice. I will be Consultation-Liaison psychiatry board eligible at the end of my current fellowship in July of 2022. In my day-to-day practice, I strive to provide the highest level of clinical care based in a solid foundation of evidence-based practice while working as part of an interdisciplinary team. I also strive to provide an equitable patient care environment, that is open to all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. In addition, I enjoy teaching, and have taught both students and resident physicians in both clinical and classroom settings, both in my current fellowship as well as throughout my residency. I have attended conferences, including most recently this years Academy of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP) conference (virtually). I do not shy away from leadership or administrative roles, during my fourth year in residency I was Co-chief of the residency program. In addition to possessing the attributes expected of a physician in the ever-changing landscape that is the world of psychiatry today, I would describe myself as professional, reliable, friendly, flexible, and supportive of my fellow collogues as well as the interdisciplinary staff around me. I am looking for a position that allows me to provide patient care at the highest level, in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal employer will provide a work environment that promotes wellness for physicians and staff, as well as good avenues for communication between staff and administration in addition to a constant willingness to continue to evolve and improve in a world that demands doing so daily. Please contact me for a copy of my updated resume.
