I’m an Iowa native and proud Iowa State University alum (and fan!) now living in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Roanoke, Virginia. I work as a consult psychiatrist in the emergency department at LewisGale Medical Center, where I enjoy working with and training psychiatry residents in our GME program.

I have a special interest in thought disorders and really value the opportunity to mentor medical students and residents as they grow in their careers.

Outside of work, my family and I love exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoying outdoor adventures. It’s been a privilege to care for and be a part of this great community!
