Summary
- I am a physician-scientist with a primary interest in developing novel immunotherapies to cure cancer. My background is in tumor immunology, with an emphasis on tumor vaccines, T cell-based therapies, dendritic cells, innate immune agonists, and antigen-specific immune responses. I am a card-carrying immunologist, with multiple years of experience working in bench research (manipulating both mouse and human cells for basic research and translational purposes). I am also a translational researcher, having played major roles in multiple phase I/II clinical trials testing experimental immunotherapies in patients with advanced malignancies. I hope to combine my lab skills with clinical insight to provide cures for patients who currently have no definitive options for their cancer.
