- Emily E. Weber LeBrun, MD, MS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine where she serves as the Head of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS/Urogynecology). Dr. Weber LeBrun completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA a three year accredited fellowship in FPMRS and a Masters in Clinical Investigation at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. Dr. Weber LeBrun is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), an active member of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS), the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and the International Urogynecologic Association (IUGA). Dr. Weber LeBrun has received multiple teaching awards including the CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education in 2011, J. Lee Dockery Cup for Outstanding Teaching in 2014 and the Association of Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award in 2016. Dr. Weber LeBrun’s research interests include objective and subjective surgical outcomes assessment and quality improvement, comparative effectiveness of surgical devices and techniques, and medical education strategies.
