- In his role as a board-certified urologist at Precision Healthcare Specialists, Dr. Elliot Blau provides his patients with comprehensive, compassionate urologic care. He specializes in robotics, urologic oncology, benign prostate hyperplasia or enlarged prostate, kidney stones and urinary incontinence.
A Southwest Florida native who grew up in Sarasota, Florida, Dr. Blau completed his medical school training at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He went on to complete residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
During residency, Dr. Blau discovered a passion for robotic surgery and chose to pursue one of the most prestigious robotics fellowships in the country. He completed this fellowship in minimally invasive and robotic surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington with world-renowned robotic surgeon, Dr. James Porter.
Today, Dr. Blau is a diplomat of the American Board of Urology (ABU), as well as the only robotics-fellowship trained urologist in Collier County. He has authored multiple publications on prostate cancer, kidney cancer and robotic surgery techniques.
