Summary
- I retired from gyn oncology 12/31/2015. I got board certified in hospice and palliative medicine in 2010 as a coping mechanism; my ovarian cancer patients kept dying. (I entered practice with platinum and I was sure I would see the cure for ovarian cancer. Wrong again and again.) Fifteen months and many countries into my retirement I accepted a long offered job as a hospice medical director part time. Really enjoying it.
