- Elizabeth (Liz) Wang-Giuffre, D.O., earned her medical degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her pediatric residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston (UTHealth Houston), where she went on to complete her pediatric cardiology fellowship and serve as the chief pediatric cardiology fellow, where she was awarded both the “Best Teaching Fellow” and “Best Resident Advocate” by the pediatric residents.
Dr. Wang-Giuffre specializes in general pediatric cardiology and exercise cardiology and serves as the director of the Children’s Heart Institute Cardiopulmonary Exercise Laboratory. Her clinical and academic interests include cardiopulmonary exercise testing in congenital heart disease and its utilization in improving quality of life and outcome in our congenital heart disease population. She also has a passion for providing the highest level of comprehensive cardiology care in the outpatient setting though clear compassionate communication and collaborative relationships with patients, empowering them to make the right decisions for their child and family.
