• Dr. Elizabeth Sinz is an anesthesiologist based in Morgantown, WV, with subspecialties in critical care medicine and neuroanesthesiology. She was educated at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she graduated in 1991, followed by an anesthesiology residency and fellowship in critical care medicine at UPMC Medical Education. She completed a research fellowship studying traumatic brain injury at the Safar Center for Resuscitation Research in 1997. Dr. Sinz furthered her education with a Master’s in Adult Education from Penn State University in 2016. Currently, she serves as the Associate Medical Director at WVU Medicine Critical Care and Trauma Institute and is a professor at West Virginia University School of Medicine. She has extensive experience in critical care medicine, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, simulation, interprofessional and adult education. Her work has been published in various journals, and she has been recognized as a Fellow by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the Academy of Critical Care Medicine.
