- I am a board certified Pediatrician, Physician Nutrition Specialist, and, Obesity Medicine Specialist. I trained at Dartmouth College (undergrad)Tufts University School of Medicine, and University of Pennsylvania ( Master's of Science in Clinical Epidemiology), with Fellowship training at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I am the Medical Director of the Adolescent Bariatrics Arm of the Healthy Weight Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Perelman Medical School, University of Pennsylvania.
My research focuses on the psychosocial determinants of childhood obesity in racial/ethnic minorities as well as effectiveness of digital health interventions in adolescents with obeisty in the clinical and community settings.
