Summary
- As a double board certified colorectal and general surgeon who specializes in complex colonoscopies, colonoscopic polypectomies, anal surgery including complex fissures and fistulas, painless hemorrhoid surgery and anal canal cancer. Diverticular disease, colon and rectal cancer are somewhat routine surgical care. Somewhat because surgical care is never routine. But the ability to offer care immediately to any member of society whether wealthy or poor, veteran or indigent, educated or searching, insured or cash pay, is what my office staff and I strive to maintain. The practice of medicine in every corner of the globe has always been and will always be about availability, care which is personal not corporate and in a private practice. Where the rule is good care available care despite the governments requirement that it be paid for so that their taxes may be covered to continue to govern effectively. We continue to care for people from all over the globe: from China to Saudi Arabia, from Canada to Chile and all immigrants and indigenous people of this country. Please come even if it is simply to get a diagnosis. Colon rectal and anal care is about full body care. Creating the correct microbiome to prevent medical and surgical disease throughout the body. My area of interest is immunologic oncology and with the knowledge of how the immune system is fed by the microbiome of the body many diseases can be improved if not cured with this knowledge.
