Dr. De Oliveira began her medical journey in her home country of Brazil, where she earned her medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. She then completed her pediatric residency in New York before pursuing a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical College.
Before joining Pacific Pediatric Cardiology in 2000, Dr. De Oliveira conducted clinical research on cholesterol metabolism at the Rockefeller University. She also completed a senior research fellowship in pediatric echocardiography at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
