- Dr Eli Soto is triple board-certified in Pain Medicine (ABPMR), Internal Medicine, and Hospice & Palliative Care (ABIM). He also holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine in Orlando, FL.
Dr. Soto earned his Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. As he was finishing his studies at the School of Medicine, his primary focus was oncology. He went on to complete two fellowships, Hospice & Palliative Care and Interventional Pain Management at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York, NY respectively. Dr. Soto also concluded a research fellowship in pain medicine neuromodulation and became an Attending Physician at the latter institution. He held the title of Assistant Professor of the Departments of Medicine and Anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY.
With over a decade of experience in the pain management field, Dr. Soto is an expert in basic and advanced interventional pain management techniques including Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Lumbar Decompression, Vertebral Augmentation Techniques, Endoscopic Rhizotomy, Ultrasound-Guided Interventions, and Regenerative Medicine Procedures, among others.
