Dr. Eileen Crawford is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty in Sports Medicine. She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and her fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Michigan. She returned to Michigan Medicine as faculty in 2017. She developed a niche in pediatric sports medicine within the division of sports medicine. She is a team physician for the University of Michigan athletic teams.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Crawford serves as Orthopaedic Surgery residency program director at the University of Michigan. She previously served as associate chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the department of Orthopaedic Surgery for several years. Her research focuses on the pediatric athlete.
