- Dr. Edward Yatco is the Medical Director of Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery and the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He performs minimally invasive robotic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass and Modified Duodenal Switch (SIPS, SADI, SADS, looped DS). He specializes in bariatric surgery revisions including conversion from Gastric Bypass to Modified Duodenal Switch and Conversion from Lap Band to Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass or Modified Duodenal Switch. He was the first to perform a conversion from gastric bypass to modified duodenal switch (SIPS) using the da Vinci Xi surgical robot. He also specializes in minimally invasive robotic hernia and antireflux surgery.
