Dr. Edward Saylor is a family medicine specialist based in Richmond, VA, with subspecialties in hospital medicine and emergency medicine. He earned his MD from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1974, having previously obtained both his B.S. and M.S. from Penn State University, where he graduated cum laude with a focus on biochemistry and genetics. Dr. Saylor is currently the Medical Director at Palmetto Infusion LLC and has served as President of Commonwealth Hospitalists and Henrico Doctors Hospitalists from 2004 to 2016. He worked as a primary care physician from 1977 to 2004 and as an emergency medicine doctor for 36 years over the same years. In 2002, he received the Outstanding Teacher Award from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical School. He remains Board Certified in Family Medicine.
