Edward Rippel, MD, practiced as an Internal Medicine specialist in Hamden, CT from 1993- 2024. He completed his MD at New York Medical College in 1987, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and Atlantic Health System/Morristown Medical Center, respectively. He also holds a B.A. in Biology from New York University. He served as President of Quinnipiac Internal Medicine from 1999 to 2020 and was a Clinical Instructor at Yale School of Medicine's Primary Care Center. Dr. Rippel has experience with hypertension, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, and cerebrovascular disease. He has been honored multiple times through the Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition Program from the National Committee for Quality Assurance and was named a Hypertension Control Champion by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2019.
