Summary

E. Parker Hays Jr., MD, is an emergency medicine physician, speaker, coach, and consultant based in Charlotte, NC. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1991 and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in 1994. He also holds a BA in Biological Sciences/Zoology from DePauw University.
He spent almost 20 years in academic EM and was the long time Residency Program Director at Carolinas. He was named the Outstanding EM Physician in his medical center in 2023 and the award was named for him going forward.

He co-founded Lasting Impact Wellness Group, PLLC, which helps individual leaders and organizations with high-pressure decision-making, team building, values-based leadership, and personal sustainability for high performers. He has special interest in aging/longevity medicine. He co-hosts a successful podcast, Lasting Impact Wellness (on major platforms), and is a TEDx speaker.
