- I am a Fellowship trained breast surgeon. I completed a Society of Surgical Oncology Fellowship in Breast Surgery at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. I completed medical residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Vanderbilt University. I also completed a research fellowship at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center focusing on breast cancer research. Prior to moving to the United States in 2005, I was a board certified Breast Surgeon and Gynecologist and Obstetrician in Brazil.
