  • I am a 2nd year Pediatric Pulmonary fellow at Seattle Children's Hospital at the University of Washington interested in a career as a physician scientist studying the role of host-pathogen interactions in progression of pediatric lung disease caused by muco-obstructive airway diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, asthma, and non-CF bronchiectasis.

  • Resident Research FellowI worked with DB Sanders, MD, MPH and Clement Ren, MD, MBA to investigate how clinicians at Riley Hospital for Children utilize small changes in FEV1 with clinical symptoms to diagnose and manage pulmonary exacerbations in children with cystic fibrosis.2019 - 2022
  • Research AssistantWorked in the lab of David Stoltz, MD, PhD where I managed care of the cystic fibrosis pig model. I studied the role of CFTR in airway smooth muscle function and investigated bacterial- dependent and -independent early mechanisms of CF lung disease using the CF pig model.2012 - 2019
  • Undergraduate Research AssistantWorked with Stephanie Fore, PhD to develop a statistical model to describe population dynamics of the Amblyomma americanum tick in northeast Missouri and developed a conceptual model of the tick life cycle based on meteorological factors.2008 - 2012
