Douglas Nelson, MD, is an internal medicine and pediatric specialist based in Kalispell, MT. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from 1987-1992 at the University of North Carolina Hospitals after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1987. He has previously served on the Board of Trustees for Kalispell Regional Healthcare (now Logan Health) including 2 years as chair. He served as Chief Medical Officer for Logan Health Medical Center from 2017-2022, subsequently semi-retiring to become a part-time concierge medicine physician with the Logan Health MD Direct practice. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American College of Physicians.
