- Dr. Doosup Shin, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a board-certified interventional cardiologist specializing in complex interventional procedures, intravascular imaging, and coronary physiology. After completing his interventional training at Duke, he spent an additional year of advanced training at St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center for complex coronary interventions and clinical research. Dr. Shin runs the Renal Denervation Program at St. Francis, a newly approved minimally invasive technology to treat patients with high blood pressure. As a clinician-investigator and Assistant Director of Research, Dr. Shin has published more than 100 scientific papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and oversees multiple clinical research studies at St. Francis aimed at improving the quality of care and outcomes for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
