Summary
- I left internal medicine/geriatrics practice December 2002 but continued to serve patients in a volunteer clinic for the uninsured in our community until COVID took us off the schedule. I returned to do chart reviews and finally left that and gave up my license in 2022. I served as the initial geriatrics clerkship director for the Pensacola Campus of FSUCOM 2002-2015 (never say never re teaching!). I live in a life care community, still serve on health-related committees for it locally and nationally, still support our local Council on Aging, but have become very focused on trying to help grow shelter and housing for kids and their families who are currently homeless in our community (thousands unfortunately!).
