After graduating from Stanford University with his bachelor's degree, Dr. Chang completed his MD at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Neurosurgery residency and chief residency were completed at Montreal Neurological Institute of the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, after which he completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at the University of Florida under Dr. Arthur Day. His career has seen significant roles, including leadership positions at OSF HealthCare System, The Ohio State University Medical Center, Centura Health System (Denver), University of California Davis Medical Center, and Cigna Corporation. Dr. Chang has contributed to numerous publications and academic research, primarily in the fields of ischemic stroke, neurovascular disease, and skull base neurosurgery, and has received multiple honors, including the national Young Neurosurgeon Award and fellowships from both the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
