Summary
- My clinical areas of focus includes general oncology, auto stem cell rescue, and post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders. In addition to clinical activities, I function as the Director of the Pediatric Cancer Research Group, a multidisciplinary collaborative team completing basic science, translational and epidemiology research. I also serve as the Children’s Oncology Group Principal Investigator for the University of Nebraska Medical Center. My research interests include the induction of autophagy in pediatric tumors, the epidemiology of pediatric cancer in Nebraska, and the development of new biomarkers for cancer detection.
